Superintendent's Messages

Superintendent's Message

Dear Trigg County,

It is an absolute honor and privilege to serve as your Superintendent for Trigg County Public Schools. I cannot begin to put into words how excited I am for the 2024-25 school year and all the great things your Wildcats will experience under the phenomenal faculty and staff that make up our school district. At TCPS, our collective focus will be to ensure that your child grows daily as an individual and a scholar, but more importantly, has an experience unlike any other that they will value for the rest of their lives.

Above anything else, culture will be the foundation of everything we do. We will build a culture in which every individual who reps the Black and White will be challenged to exit their comfort zones daily and return home better than they were when they left that morning. A culture where every Wildcat feels supported to chase their dreams because they know without a shadow of a doubt they have the support and backing of our entire TCPS community to be whoever they desire to be when they successfully walk across the graduation stage and move on to the next chapter of their lives. A culture where every voice is not only heard, but valued. Because in order for TCPS to continue to grow and evolve into one of the finest districts in all of Kentucky, it will take every Wildcat, from the youngest to the oldest, coming together as a family to build and sustain a district the entire community can take pride in. And we will do all this by building #BRICKBYBRICK.

My commitment to you as Superintendent is this:

  • I will be dedicated to transparency and consistent communication in a variety of ways so you the community will be aware and take #WILDCATPRIDE in all the great things happening within TCPS each day.

  • I will not only be visible, but I will be present. You will regularly see me actively participating in school and community events with my #WILDCATPRIDE on full display.

  • I will be intentional in ensuring all of our schools are secure and safe so that kids and employees alike can focus on learning, growing, developing and displaying their own #WILDCATPRIDE.

As we go into a new school year, I challenge you to attack each day with the WILL OF A WILDCAT (#WOW). I cannot wait to attack it with you!

Go Cats,

Rex Booth

Superintendent, Trigg County Public Schools
